Since childhood, I’ve been scribbling away stories, character names, and pieces of dialogue on any paper I could get my hands on, without ever truly thinking it would ever go anywhere.

To me, my writing was born out of one simple thing: loneliness. It was a way to escape life and journey somewhere of my own invention, where anything was possible if only I dreamed it up.

These stories started out much of the same: mermaids and magic, fairies and fairytales, adventure and friendships— but one thing they all had in common was the most important thread that tied them all together: love.

I am an extremely (some would say overly) passionate person when it comes to the things I love. Whether that be Taylor Swift, or Irish history— running to the soundtrack of musicals, or that daily iced coffee (or three) that I so look forward to each morning…

Or yes, love stories— I’ve been able to pour all of that passion into these stories that I now get to share with you all.

So, despite starting out as a lonely little girl scribbling away in my notebooks, it makes it all the more incredible that not only are my stories out in the world now, but a few of you have even read (and enjoyed?) them!

And the thing I craved most of all—connection— is now accessible thanks to the hobby that made me feel less alone in the first place.

I hope my stories can make you feel a little less alone, too.
